[. decisions .]

Life is full of difficult decisions. Some times you will find yourself with no options, and other times you will find yourself torn between two or more very tempting options and will have to assess which is the better one for the present that will have a positive impact for the future.  I think having a clear and objective mind weighing the pros and cons of each options really help.  This can be difficult to do as we are very subjective people. I think that is why talking to different people to hear their reasoning will provide a wider perspective and help with the decision making. Meditation and praying are also very helpful tools.  Below is a prayer written by Reinhold Niebuhr.

God, grant me grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.

Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardships as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that you will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that i may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.

Amen.
