[. shit happens .]

there's a poster from imaginus w/a list on "shit happens". i never read all the points but the title is certainly catchy and applicable to our daily life.

it's true that shit happens...
and despite who is responsible for causing it and who is victimized... we are all responsible for our actions

what's important is how we deal with the problems that comes our way.
do we face it w/a negative or positive mannner/attitude?
what are all the possible methods in resolving the problem?
is the method we choose to use more likely to increase or decrease the likelihood of resolution?
would it hurt anyone physically or psychologically/emotionally?

why am i writing about this?
well, recently i've tried to deal with a problem that i had.
and learned that confrontation is not easy.
i thought i had everything i wanted to say figured out.
but when i met up w/my friend, i forgot a lot of it. lol.
sigh... E for Effort i guess..... so i'm still learning ^-^

here is a quote i also saw on another poster from imaginus

"Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see." - Rene Magritte

notice that it only talks about one of the 5 senses we have?
>>> sight
"eveything we see hides another thing..." -- so i guess we don't see everything
"we always want to see what is hidden..." -- so since our eyes can't help us to know everything or more about something... we should make use of our other senses/other parts of the body

example:
use our ears to listen to what others have to say
use our mouths to express how we feel
and hopefully this will help us to communicate with others
and by using our brain for discernment and our heart to understand the problem(s) from all sides, hopefully there will be some progress to resolution and restoration i guess

yah, thought i share a bit on what i'm learning - [easy to say, hard to do]
i'm out
and oh yah, Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
