[. when u got to go...... U GOT TO GO!!!! .]
who would have ever thought that searching for a washroom would be such a hard task?!?!?!
yes... story time =p
this happened on thurs... a few hours after jenn sent the txt msg to the wrong person! lol
so, after class jenn n i went to watch her friend chris' ultimate freezbee game. when we arrived at the school park in chris' car, both jenn and i needed to go to the washroom!
(why did i drink so much liquid before? why why why?)
we saw a plaza near by, so off we went on our feet. it was a 5min walk or so and at the plaza there was a value mart, coffe shop, restaurant, office place and a few other small stores. our 1st try was the office place. we DID find a washroom... but it was LOCKED!!!! (grrrrr.... stupid offices...) 2nd we saw this coffee shop which had a sign saying that only customers can use their washroom... we would have glady bought something in exchange to use their facility... BUT they were CLOSED!!!! (grrrrrr....) after those two tries... we were certain that we'll have more luck w/the restaurant.... common it's a restaurant!! what kind of restaurant doesn't have washrooms??? but AGaiN... it was CLOSED due to some damages w/their pipes!!! (boy... we were on a roll =p)
we continued trying other stores..... but had no luck.....boooooooooo!!! by then i was on the verge of leaking and becoming desperate!!!!
since the plaza was of no help we began to walk back to the park... there was one last shot before the bush option >.<... and it was to knock on a house door and ask to use their washroom! on our way to the plaza we noticed these ladies w/children talking on their driveway. so rationalizing that there are females w/children in this house... it would be safe and they may be nice enough to help w/our little emergency.
we walked up to the front door and rang the bell =p and instead of a woman greeting us... it was a man w/a baby!!! none the less, we asked to use their washroom... the man gave us this confused are-you-kidding-look! lol but he was a kind man. after we explained our situation to him he welcomed us to use their toilet! (yeah! no peeing in my pants or behind a bush!!!)
i was sooooooooooooooo happy, relieved and a bit scared at the same time cause i was entering into a stranger's house to use their washroom! during the time i waited for jenn while she was using the washroom i chatted w/the man. i found out that his little girl is named Julia, and she is 10 months old =) she's adorable~
so there it is, the washroom adventure! heehee ^-^ this will be one adventure i won't forget! the search for a washroom, and the experience of receiving hospitality from someone who i didn't know. thanks for being w/me through these crazy moments jenn! and thank you God for Julia's family!

lessons learned:
(1) to be like that man. open the door and welcome the stranger(s). [yah, sounds crazy n dangerous, but something good to think about]
(2) there are some good ppl out there that can trust strangers [uh-oh... jenn might start plotting her evil schemes now! lol...]
(3) we need public washrooms @ parks!!!!!! or at least have 1 accessible(24hr) public washroom @ every plaza!!!!!!!
