The past few months have been a very stressful time. School, family, boyfriend, church, friends and just thinking of my future (life after graduation) have all challenged me in different ways. Oh how I wish I was a toddler again where life seemed so simple and doing things was as easy and fast as saying it.

At some point, it was hard for me to look forward to Christmas. So many things were on my mind that made it difficult to get into the holiday spirit. Coming from a religious background it just seems that everything is a routine rather than having a personal purpose/meaning. What am I really celebrating this Christmas? What is something different I want this Christmas than all the other ones I've had? What do you do when you have limited time to do all the things you want?

I came upon a song about Christmas while I was listening to the radio and shoveling the snow. It's a very uplifting song where the lyrics sums up my thoughts, feelings and longing for myself and the people I love.
