[. update b4 my 1st week of hell .]

(gonna copy mon's idea of having subtitles ^-^)

next week:
i have a small research assignment due in the begining of the week... a midterm on my birthday... and ANOTHER ONE after my birthday... sucha great way to hit off my twenteens...

school:
apart from the academic side of school, it's been going alright. women cell started this monday and it went well. the topic this year is guy-girl relationships and being single. we talked about our dream guy this past monday =). but then i felt like an oddball cuz my list of a dream guy somewhat differs from the majority of the group. :S

i've also started to play badminton at york! hopefully that will keep me in shape! but so far i go once a week only =p
chihymn's friend, alan (or allan?) is crazy!!! the only person who can return his hits is keith!!!!
will i be able to polish up my badminton skills by the end of this school year and play as well as them? ...guess i won't know till later ^-^

physical activities:
so i have badminton going at school... and recently started to play ping-pong at church!!! =)
and floor hockey is coming soonnn (yeah, i can't believe i've signed my death sentence >.<). i'm sort of excited for f-hockey. maybe it's because it's something that i haven't touched in a lllllooonnngggg time. i'm sure i played it in JHS... but my best memories of it were from elementary school! =D

work:
yup, will be working on saturdays as a math teacher at the math school held at my church. first day of class is TOMORROW!!!! (yess... i should be sleeping soooon... it's like 1am... doo doo doo)

books i've been reading now n then:

- how does imperfect beings show perfect love?
- what can a person do in a situation where they are trapped?

hmmm... i don't have anything interesting to end my post with...

ohhh, i did think of something intersting while going to bed and i'm back to write about it!
it's probably not the best thing to share... just have a thought on the news regarding the t-shirt controversy in St. Catharines...

- a picture of a hammer, some red substance, and the words "she was asking for it ..."

it seem so obvious to everyone what these 3 elements convey
what i found interesting is that even though there aren't absolute evidence proving the intended meaning behind these images (cuz it's only a part of the picture) we, human beings living in Toronto, jumped to the conclusioin that the story behind it is probably - a female was abused by a male who used this hammer as a weapon. what if the hammer wasn't even involved in the abuse? what if there was no abuse?(naive to think that eh?) what if this whole thing is just a play on words and images, and we took it the wrong way?

i'm not saying that i support violence or any of that type of thing...
i just found it interesting how there are so many possibilities... and more than likely, we end up choosing that one...
